We blend natural salt with camelina flour, which is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. The result is a unique condiment that brings out the typical camelina taste. The raw materials are also unique: Camelina from the Saarland region. Salt from Einville in the neighbouring Pays du Saulnois, the’salt country’ of the French Lorraine region, which was legendary for its wealth in the Middle Ages.

Salt is harvested by hand using traditional methods, just like in Celtic and Roman times, to preserve its purity and authentic taste. This manual production results in a coarse salt that needs to be ground in a mill. Using anti-caking agents is out of the question!

Our organic camelina salt is the perfect accompaniment to many dishes. There is nothing better than a sprinkle of camelina salt on your breakfast eggs.
